Beautiful board

What a beautyful board! Nice flowing worker placement/ressource management game. Move your boat, pick-up ressources, complete a job for a client, collect money or rewards and improve your ship / buy ports. It is a table hog though. The board is immense. Unless you absolutely hate the genre of game, this one is a keeper.

Even though I live on the west coast, most of the games I own are purchased from BGB. They have the largest selection for extremely competitive prices. Rarely, do I find a game that is cheaper on Amazon even factoring in the shipping cost. And I much prefer to support independent/small businesses. I've been a customer since 2015 and I've never had an issue with shipping. Everything usually gets shipped out in 1 or 2 days and arrive at my door step in about a week, securely packaged.

Must Have for Contra Lovers

Very cool cool game that does an amazing job of turning the video game experience into a fun and challenging co-op board game. The theme is great, the artwork is very sharp, and the gameplay- while challenging is very fun. It takes some time to get through the rule book and to understand all aspects of this game. I needed to watch a few videos as well to get a good season of the gameplay- but once we had it down, it was a blast. If you loved the Contra video game this is a must have. It looks amazing and the fact that it is a challenge should bring you back to the table over and over to try to master it. Good replay-ability. I had been eyeing this up for quite a while before pulling the trigger and I’m so happy I did. Highly recommend.

Great Coop Fun

Love this game. The theme is great, the artwork is awesome, gameplay is simple but challenging, and it’s easy to set up and learn.
Replay-ability is there, but not much changes from game to game. Fun for two or a group. It was the spooky Boogeyman theme that attracted me to this game and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend.

The game is easy to setup. The rules are written down in a easy to understand book. The game takes about 35 minutes for a total of 4 rounds. The game was entertaining to play.

Phantom Ink didn't seem like it would work but its been a blast every time my game group has played. Phantom Ink: Arcana gives more prompts, adds some special powers but, more importantly, adds a cooperative mode. My wife and I have enjoyed our experiences with this cooperative mode immensely.
