I've played Children of Morta a dozen times and I definitely recommend it. It's an adventure game with 5 playable characters (6 with the expansion) and a fairly wide variety of enemies, as well as two games modes. The Story campaign is a rogue-lite where your characters' upgrades persist from one game to the next, and there's a one-shot mode where you'll start fresh each time like a true roguelike. Each character plays a little differently but they're similar enough that you can switch from one to another fairly easily. Combat is easy to learn but with enough strategy to keep it interesting.
I'd give the game 5 stars but it has a few issues. The deluxe acrylic tokens aren't necessary and I prefer some of the thick cardboard ones personally, the game's balance is a little wonky at times, and you earn upgrades too fast during the campaign mode. I recommend increasing Rage costs by 1 to buy new dice and halving how much Morv and XP you earn during the campaign mode.
