Refund policy

Return & Refund Policy

Items can be returned with proof of purchase under the windows below. Returned items must be in the same condition as sold — new and sealed (used games excepted).

Return windows

  • Online orders: 30 days from delivery — full refund (game value) if returned within 14 days of delivery; store credit for returns made on days 14–30. You ship the item back to the store and cover return shipping; only the game is refunded, not the original shipping cost.
  • In-store purchases: full refund within 14 days of purchase with receipt; store credit from 14–30 days with proof of purchase. Items must be in original condition.
  • Used games: returnable within 7 days of purchase if in the same condition as sold, or if the listing was incorrect (e.g., undisclosed missing pieces).

Condition

Items must be new and sealed (used games excepted). Please pack mailed returns carefully — if a return arrives in poor condition, a partial refund may be granted at our discretion. Unsealed items (e.g., books, card sleeves) are final sale.

If we made a mistake

We’ll replace or refund any BoardGameBliss error at no charge, and email you a printable return label with instructions. Items sent back without first requesting a return can’t be accepted.

Change of mind

Accepted within 14 days of receiving the item; return shipping is not covered.

Damaged, defective, or missing items

  • Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us right away. If an item is damaged in transit, email us and we’ll make it right — typically with compensation, or a return and refund.
  • Missing or defective components are a manufacturing matter: contact us and we’ll connect you with the publisher for replacements; if they can’t help, we’ll make sure you’re taken care of. (We can’t accept a return of an opened product for missing pieces.)
  • In-store sales: please check condition before purchasing — in-store sales can’t be refunded for damage found afterward.

Final sale (not returnable)

  • All TCG products (Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana, One Piece, etc.) and all TCG singles — these can’t be cancelled or refunded.
  • Sale items and gift cards.

Held items

Held items not picked up can be refunded at any time. If the original transaction is too old to refund, store credit is issued.

How to start a return

Email info@boardgamebliss.com with your order number. We’ll confirm once your return is received and inspected; approved refunds go to your original payment method (your bank or card may take a few days to post it).
