Sankoré is a heavy game, though once you play a round or two, the actions click and make sense. The depth comes from the wide range of strategic choice, and choosing the correct series of actions on each turn. Resources are plentiful, right up until the moment when you need them the most. That’s when you have to get creative...
One big surprise for the spouse when I'm not at home when the giant present arrives.
A nice efficiency puzzle of trying to make the most of the limited turns available. You start with a functioning engine in one location and must dismantle and rebuild it in the new location without breaking either economy in the process. Only a couple games in but enjoying it very much.
Love the game. Will need to translate the instructions, but easy to play.
