This is a fun game. Although heavily weighted towards luck, such as the order the six cards come out, and the order the market is filled, the decision on how to build or cull your deck can make enough of an impact to give you the sense of control. The art is great and the different effects of each card makes for an entertaing experience. I personally like calculating my hand when the six cards come out, and have had to pivot when the crocodile ate my lion!!
I have played fliptoons with four serious (well, semi serious) gamers, as well as my family (with a 7 year old) and had a blast both times.
The way the game ends leaves victory in the balance meaning it could still be anyone's game.
I gave it 4 stars because the game can go a little long for what it is, a fun deck builder with a unique twist, and although the feal of decision making is there, the end remains random. Great for a laugh and cheers, but just a little long to get to that climax.
That said, this is a game i will be keeping in my collection. It is quick to teach, quick to set up and I would call it a filler +
