I'm a HUGE fan of Football Highlights 2052 so I'll get everything I can get for this game (just like Baseball Highlights 2045).
This Promo Pack includes 3 EGG All Pro cards for the Solo Deck and 12 All Star Player cards to add to your draft deck. There are a few powerful robot players among those.

It is really fun - very stressful but we have made it work out in the end with not too much cheating!
Great game. Stylish and great battle mechanism. Easy to learn, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy to win. Requires very strategic planning. I love it.
The map's artwork is nothing special. It's filled with stupid historical and geographic errors. The designer Bob Kalinowski and map artists Wouter Woestenburg, Mark Mahaffey and Thierry Aradan are totally lazy, unprofessional, uneducated rubes who couldn't care less about historical accuracy. They have no understanding of the broader historical context/undercurrents of this period, the 18th century as a whole or even a desire to learn about them. They've never opened a single history textbook, taken a single history course or even talked to a single history professor in their entire lives. They wouldn't know a history textbook if it hit them on the head. There are no sources - scholarly or otherwise - listed in their rulebook whatsoever. They're making it all up as they go along. They can't even spell the cities of Namür, Bergen, Brüssel, Dornick, Menen, Veurne, Straßburg, and Posen/Posnan/Posnania properly on the map. Don't bother giving them any suggestions for improvement. They couldn't care less about gamer feedback. Their minds are made up, don't confuse them with the facts. They're too busy distorting the past with their pre-conceived modern notions and anti-historical, anti-German, anti-Austrian agenda. Since these characters have a tendency to falsify history in their games, you're better off staying away from them. Maybe some day an educated, professional person will make a historically accurate card-driven game and mounted map of this period, but this is not it.
TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO BOYCOTT THIS GAME!
First and foremost, this is a great expansion.
However the fact that they made the water on the track a non modular thing is a little boggling.. There's nothing really preventing you from pretending that there's water on your other tracks, but it's not the same.
As far as other content, it's all more of the same. One new car, a few new parts, and two tracks.
I would have liked to see new Legends cards included, but there's no problem just using the ones that are in the base game.
