Not all adventures end well. Some groups meet their untimely demise at the hands of monsters all too soon, and Unbroken is a story of one such ill-advised expedition.

You, the player, take on the role of the sole survivor of that failed adventure. Finding yourself in hostile territory, weak and wounded, you will need to gather your wits and strength, craft weapons from scraps found around you, and attempt to tackle progressively more challenging monsters on your way out of this forsaken place.

Unbroken is a solo card game that is quick to set up and play but one that will produce a tense challenging experience.

You will collect resources representing your character's abilities and will need to ensure that you invest in a right mix of resources to both keep yourself alive during your travels and also prepare for the gruesome monsters that wait in the dark. There are several options at your disposal - brute force, trickery, clever use of skills.

Customize your character and use your limited resources wisely - only the craftiest and the most resilient survivors will make it out alive.

Boring

After the disaster of a Kickstarter campaign, I had my expectations for the game very low. Somehow, the game is even worse than I had expected. I played it twice and it's been collecting dust, ever since. Wish I hadn't backed it in the first place.

A Beached Whale's Carcass

Novel at first. Maybe even breathtaking. Then you realize it's taking up most of your area and it's stinking up the place. Repetitive gambling and sliding cubes around with production values pasted on.

Nope.

Will not support this brand, product, designer or publisher. It a shame to see this available on BGB, when so many have paid and paid and paid again, just to get the copy they initially paid for. There are thousands of people without, yet here these are, available for someone else to purchase.

Worst Kickstarter ever

The campaign for Unbroken has left a sour taste in the mouths of many backers. The fulfillment was handled so poorly by the logistics partner and many people have lost hope in the game.

However, the game is EXTREMELY fun. If you manage to find a copy, I highly recommend picking it up and playing it. I wouldn't risk backing them on any future expansions, just purchase if you find it in store.

This game is easy to learn, fun to play but hard to master.
Great quality components and variability. A must have in your collection.

Incredible value in a conveniently-sized box

Truth be told, this game was already one of my favourite roll-and-writes. While there is nothing here to change anyone's opinion about the game, the publisher deserves kudos for putting together this definitive edition where everything fits in an affordable, conveniently-sized box. This is a very well designed, high-quality product.

Its a great game

It is really fun - very stressful but we have made it work out in the end with not too much cheating!

Great game. Stylish and great battle mechanism. Easy to learn, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy to win. Requires very strategic planning. I love it.
