Excellent Upgrades and Some Weirdness

All of the upgraded pieces are of excellent quality, as well as being bery pretty to look at. The “zap” lightning tokens are especially satisfying. The added creatures are very interesting and odd. Haven’t played with them yet, but I look forward to seeing how they change the game.

Awesome expansion to a great game

Love the game. Boardgame Bliss delivered the goods. Having the deluxe expansion was a great bonus!

Such a fun expansion!

Great scenerio pack with two fun villains. Loki also adds the option for epic multiplayer mode (but you do need extra copies of this expansion for that unless you put in a ton of modulars and split the Loki avatars).

My students have loved working on the puzzles alone or together.

A lot of value + replayability, decent game

There are some things that may disappoint fans of the movie this was based on (you don't get to do any fun tow cable stunts unless you imagine it). I also wish the promo pieces were just simply supplied to everyone in the box (ie plastic shield generator instead of flat cardboard).

However, there are a whole bunch of scenarios you can play on either side of, and not one but TWO entire campaigns in the box. These are not play-for-months campaigns, you can knock them out in a weekend. Very light narrative provided uniquely to each player in tiny campaign booklets work very well. If you're not a campaign person, there is more than enough one-off experiences. Well worth the cost.
