The Wild Magic lives beyond our walls, untamed and ever-flowing. There, it gathers into sacred elemental pools protected by the Guardians. Channel this magic as it ebbs and flows from the elemental pools, through you, and into our world. Command the power of the elements and you alone will join the Guardians to protect the Wild Magic forever.
Wild Magic is a set-collection game in which you aim to collect cards of the same element to play as “melds” in front of you. These melds score you points based on their strength. However, at the end of the game, if you have the weakest meld of an element, you must discard it and score nothing for that element. In addition, the player with the strongest meld of each element gains a power token worth bonus points.
On your turn you may draw 2 cards, but will likely discard a card to its pool in the center of the table. In this way, cards tend to pool up in growing piles until someone spends their turn taking all of the cards in one pool, in which case they must meld cards in front of them.
