The last lone wolf, guardian of the mountain, has just disappeared. Packs are battling for control of this promising territory. As the Alpha of one of these packs, you must be ready to do anything to ensure the survival of your people: a terrible battle awaits you !

Moonlight - The Land of the Wolves is a confrontation game for 2 players only. You play as the Alpha of your pack of wolves, seeking to take control of a territory (The Mountain).

The game is played in 2 winning rounds (BO3).

During each round, players take it in turns to lay down one of the 3 Wolf cards in their hand, within a playing area of no more than 4 by 3 or 3 by 4 cards.

There are 2 options for placing a card:

Either place a card in an empty space orthogonally adjacent to a card already placed.
Cover an opponent's Wolf card (only possible with a Wolf of a consecutive higher value than the card already in play).

Your wolves have different characteristics (Value, Moon, Counting Power, Majority Power).
At the end of each round, you compare the Values of each pack for each line, and win as many points as the number of wolves involved, plus a bonus for the majority of Moons.

Between rounds, the winner gets an extra Wolf, and the loser a Power card, which can give considerable strategic advantages for the rest of the game.

The first player to win 2 rounds wins the game!
