Description
Description
ETA Q1 2027
The “COMAO - Russian Air Forces” expansion brings the Russian Air Forces to COMAO and focuses on a strongly defensive operational doctrine. Air-defense fighters and a wide range of surface-to-air systems form a protective screen, while electronic warfare capabilities can disrupt enemy radar and prevent effective geolocation.
For offensive operations, this force relies on strategic bombers capable of launching very long-range cruise missiles while remaining safely behind its defenses. MiG-29 SMT Fulcrum C, Su-27 SM Flanker B, and Su-25 SM Frogfoot aircraft are complemented by the Tu-22 M3 Backfire, providing different options for assembling and coordinating the available air forces.
