Each year the members of the "Hunters and Gatherers Society" set off in friendly competition to search for the most unusual exhibits. In the end, the competitor who makes the most of the available opportunities and shows the most valuable collection will be pronounced "Collector of the Year".
Over the course of Meins!, players try to get hold of valuable exhibits in order to expand their private collections. On her turn, a player first takes three "means of procurement" cards from the display; these may be used to secure exhibits worth victory points (VPs) in endgame scoring. When a player takes her third exhibit, the current round ends, and all players must discard part of their means of procurement. After three rounds, players tally their VPs for each exhibit and possibly collect bonus cards. The player with the highest total wins.
