It was Bloody fantastic!

If you are interested in this game after reading about how you are going to be killing and burying travelers, then this game is for you! I brought it to a friend's place when our gaming group met.
Now, unlike me, the others in this group are hardcore gamers - really good at strategy, have played a wide range of game-types, and game often.
So, last Saturday I texted to say I was bringing this game, the Bloody Inn and one of the hosts read up on how to play it before we arrived. The other gamers, not having played this before, thought this would be a simple game that we would maybe play once or twice, put it away, and play something else.
WELL! We played the game 5 times, only stopping for supper. And even then, as one of the hosts made dinner, the rest of us played without him!
So, yes, give this game a try!

I've played this game solo and against my wife. Very fun both ways! Solo play is very difficult to win but it's a great challenge. Highly recommend.

A slimmed down version of the DVG Leader system; great for gamers where table space is a bit tight. Lots of fun!

I've played the original version of the game at least a dozen times, and it's still one of the most accessible war games out there. The refreshed edition is essentially the same: the pieces are harder plastic, there are two stiff cardboard trays with sliding covers, the card holders are slightly curved, and 21 scenarios instead of (as a I recall) 16. Maybe a few rules changes. Otherwise, it's the same old classic.

Added these to the token bundle for the AH LCG. We play the LCG with 4 players, that deluxe bundle doesn’t have enough pieces. Cute but kinda clumsy is the feedback from my friends but I like them!

Awesome Game

Haven’t played with the expansion yet, but it adds another house to the base game and I’ve played with 3 of the 4 base houses so far. I’ve wanted the core game for a while and, after getting it, am happy I did - it is a great game. Not too difficult and enough going on to keep it engaging (there’s also the option for a standard or extended game). If you are a fan/interested in the theme, I’d say it’s a must get.
