Roma XLI is the 6th volume in the Dark Cities Series by Facade Games. It plays 1-9 players in 20-40 minutes and includes elements of social deduction and light strategy.

Caesar is dead, stabbed on the senate floor. In the years following this power-shifting event, the world wonders, who will lead the Roman Republic? You are one of the nine contenders poised to take control, and perhaps even transform the Republic into an Empire. Vote your opponents into exile, build your power by gathering endorsements, and form (and break) alliances at the opportune moment. The last player remaining on the map wins the game and takes all of Rome.

On your turn play one card face down as a vote or as a protective legion, or face up as an action or a permanent character boost. Roll the die to end your turn and potentially advance the exile track. When the exile token reaches a red square, votes are revealed and the character(s) with the most votes are exiled (unless protected by a legion). Spend gold to play an extra card per turn. Earn gold by working with your allies and backstabbing them at the opportune moments. Exiled players have a chance to earn their way back into the game or convince a powerful player to take them on as a devoted follower. The final un-exiled player wins!

Standard Edition includes 1 book box, 1 board, 1 plastic temple token, 1 custom die, 1 wood exile token, 9 wood pawns, 30 wood coins, 90 cards (in standard tuckbox). Deluxe Edition adds 1 metal temple token (replaces standard), 9 custom meepawns (replaces standard pawns), 30 metal coins (replaces wood coins), 1 mini-expansion (27 wood pawns and 1 bag), 1 plastic tuck box (replaces standard). Kickstrter-exclusive Spoils of War box adds 12 Fortuna event cards, 9 medal character medallions, 7 victory wreath tokens, 1 wood coaster.
