Armed with your intellect, you'll write groundbreaking treatises, unveil ingenious inventions and turn your gaze skyward, observing the celestial dance through newly crafted telescopes; while the shadow of the Inquisition looms large, its watchful eyes scrutinizing every discovery, every whispered theory. One misstep, one too-bold pronouncement, could lead to your arrest, your work condemned, and perhaps, a fiery end. Will you pursue the truth, or will the chilling grip of fear force you to recant? The fate of knowledge, and perhaps your very life, rests in your hands.

Galileo’s Truth is a competitive game for 1 to 4 players featuring mechanics like deck building, worker placement, resource management and the threatening management of the Suspicion…
Players will alternate turns performing actions such as:

Write a Treatise to add more cards to their deck, increasing their opportunities to do big and articulate actions.
Create an Invention to gain powerful abilities, increase their income and grow their scoring opportunities.
Observe the Sky to unlock a sequence of progressively stronger bonuses and actions.

And many others!

But be careful, because the watchful eye of the Inquisition will judge all your actions. As Suspicion grows, you'll gain Penance cards that clog up your deck and potentially score negative points at the end of the game. Most dangerously, you could end up in jail, unable to use your only worker, or even worse… the fire of purification will await you.

The intense mechanic of Suspicion is further enriched by the victory point track. As you pull ahead on the victory point track, leaving others behind, you'll gain even more Suspicion. Will you boldly pursue the truth and risk the Inquisition's punishment, or will you choose a more cautious path, perhaps even appearing assertive towards the Church?
