Pre-Order Policy
- Pre-order items are charged at the time the order is placed.
- Prices for pre-order items are subject to change based on final landed costs.
- If the final price is lower, the difference will be refunded to the customer in the form of store credit.
- If the final price is higher, customers will be given the option to either:
- Pay the difference, or
- Cancel the item for a full refund.
- Orders containing pre-order items will be placed on hold until all items in the order are available.
- Once all items have arrived and pricing remains unchanged, the order will be automatically shipped.
- Pre-orders are fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis.
- If a pre-ordered item becomes unavailable (e.g., the publisher cancels the product), a full refund will be issued.
- Pre-orders may be cancelled and refunded by customers or the store.
- For transactions that are no longer eligible for direct refunds due to payment processor limitations, a store credit will be issued instead.

The goddess Ceres is saddened by the destruction of nature to make way for Rome’s foundations. In her wisdom, she has petitioned her followers to erect lavish gardens to ensure Rome does not forget from whence they came, and bring balance to the budding city’s creation. The goddess may even elect to tamper further with the city’s construction, should she see wisdom in it…But the city must grow, and you must enact our King’s will, even if it means building around these gardens.
Gardens of Ceres introduces a brand-new game mode for solo play, featuring a smart opponent that adapts to counter your moves, designed by the award-winning Dávid Turczi.
Expanded Information:
In the Gardens of Ceres Solo Expansion, a single architect will test their wits against the goddess Ceres - a fully automated opponent attempting to keep the budding city of Rome naturalized, full of lush Gardens and Parks. Ceres functions similar to an opposing human player, only instead of constructing buildings, she’ll be placing Garden tiles drawn at random from a bag. These Garden tiles have similar icons and effects to players’ buildings; by utilizing a separate deck of action cards, Ceres will attempt to expand her Gardens into Parks by seeking adjacent lots. Not only will the goddess gain Victory Points off your buildings constructed adjacent to her Parks, but she’ll be bribing Romulus every step of the way - making it more difficult for you to secure the Deeds you want! With Ceres thwarting your strategies at every turn, only the most cunning players will succeed.
