When you resolve the Capture an Asteroid action, you can choose a Satellite tile instead of the Asteroid. The cost is the same, but instead of activating the Planet's effect, you get two Life Condition icons. A tactical variation for those who want to accelerate ecosystem development or bypass less convenient planetary effects at that stage of the game.

Eight tiles, one more choice

• Satellite Tile - Eight tiles placed next to the Asteroids. When you capture, you can take the Satellite instead of the Asteroid: same cost, two Life Condition icons instead of the Planet effect.
• Life Icons - The two Life Condition icons accelerate the construction of ecosystems. Useful when you already have the planetary bonuses you need and just want to complete the population requirements.
• Tactical Decision - They don't replace Asteroids: they complement them. Each turn you choose which to capture based on what you need at that moment. Flexibility without complexity.
• Clean Integration - No additional rules. You use them during the Capture an Asteroid action you already know. Add the tiles to the setup and you're ready.
