In the Kismet Sector of the Raccroc Galaxy, huge self-sustaining motherships fight over control of the sector's vast natural resources. But you have to get past other races in order to obtain it. Hailed by its alpha testers as the Magic: The Gathering of sci-fi, this game breaks traditional card game mechanics and rearranges them into something that feels new and fresh!

In Conquest at Kismet, you play as one of two races vying for control of the Kismet sector in the Raccroc Galaxy. This simple game uses a lottery-like method of resolving battle, something that's never been used in a card game before. This allows for a very small table footprint while having a healthy mix of tactics and luck.

I've only read through the rules so I can't say much about the gameplay just yet, but I'm really looking forward to diving in soon! I'll try to remember to come back and edit or add to this if I can.

Otherwise, the current price on this is simply too good to miss on if you're a fan of VTM or are remotely interested in it. If you're new to VTM then this might be a great gateway game (accidental alliteration) for you. A reprint / new version is coming soon-ish, and with that they've made an app for the game which will work with both versions -- score! It's in an alpha state right now according to their website, but you can check it out right now if you're interested.

Some things to consider: Amazon says the box dimensions are 14"x14"x8.5" and that it weighs 23lbs. So make sure you have the space and/or secure shelving prepared for this behemoth box!

Good dexterity game

The components are outstanding, which is especially important for this particular game. Provides a satisfying experience, we kept taking pictures of our structure as it grew taller and taller! Perhaps my favourite stacking game.
