Istanbul the dice game

Great short version of Istanbul. Very quick and fun, and/but it leaves with you wanting to play the "real" version and wander the bazaar, stop at the tea house, etc. Both are good, depending on the time you have available.

Great theme and gameplay terrible quality

Comics Hunters is a great game because of its theme that f collecting Marvel comic books. I love the different auction and drafting systems. The biggest problem I s that the components are trash. The tokens are small and thin cardboard that are already showing wear, and I had to sleeve the cards. I will have to get coin capsules next. The box is also made from thin cardboard and if you try to peel off the stickers the cardboard peels up with them. The three saving graces are theme and art and gameplay. 4 stars for me.

Great puzzle game!

Great component quality and decent puzzle design. Narrative was a great addition to the gameplay

Fun & Thematic Cooperative Game

We have played the game 3 times so far (twice as 2-player and once as 6-player) and have enjoyed it! The theme and historical setting are very well integrated into the game and make it particularly enjoyable as a Christian (but the game would still be great even if you are not religious). The elder staff and messenger die are a good way to ensure everyone can participate with minimal "quarterbacking", and the difficulty level felt good for a co-op game on regular difficulty (not too easy but doesn't require you to play perfectly to win). I anticipate there will be good replayability with the 2 difficulty levels, 6 characters, 5 missions, and also the 1-vs-all mode. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the rulebook could have been slightly more clear. The game is fairly easy to learn, but I came across a few questions that either took a while for me to find the answer in the rulebook, and one I had to search online forums to find the answer.

A great auction game that nails the theme

A great game about putting together a wine collection through an auction that then feeds the next lots. The mechanics have you seeking certain varieties and countries of origin while balancing how they age. Very simple and yet a satisfying puzzle each time trying to balance the different components of scoring. The components are even great! 4.5 stars for me.
