Cat in the Box: Deluxe Edition is the quintessential quantum trick-taking card game for 2 - 5 cool cats, where your card’s color isn’t defined until you play it! Hypothesize how many tricks you will win, and record your bid. Place tokens on the community research board as you play your hand, and connect large groups of tokens to score even more points. Plan your tricks carefully as you cannot claim the color of a card with the same number that has already been declared. Doing so would be pawsitively catastrophic as you have just created a paradox!

We quite enjoy Cat in the box. It plays quite quickly and is easy to table if you only have a small window of time to get a game in.
Took us a while to get started, but it’s really fun once we got the gist of it
Fun new take on trick-taking games.
Rule book could use a clean up, but once you get it, it’s a real blast. Nice twist on trick taking.
Definitely an interesting trick taking game where the suits have to be "observed" to play them. The game works best at 4 players, solid at 3 but falls apart at 2 players.

Add the Korean Wave expansion and Wok and Roll is a light, addictive roll & write that will quickly pass the time. A definite must for roll & write fans who appreciate the satisfaction of combos to get more stuff.
Love Wingspan and love the added depth Oceania brings to the game with nectar and all the wonderful new bird cards from "down under".
