Once upon a time, passionate Fire, hardworking Earth, wise Water, and wayward Air spontaneously decided to build a kingdom. The Spontaneous Kingdom. However, the elements are very competitive—each wants to build the wealthiest part of the Kingdom. Join them in the battle for riches and influence!
Capitalia: Spontaneous Kingdom is a competitive family board game where each player takes on a role of one of the elements. The goal of the game is to be the first to earn 100 million.
There are 4 actions players will perform on their turns: move, visit, sell a building (optional), and discard (or build).
To move around the board, players will roll the dice and move their meeple the corresponding number of track spaces. When the movement is complete, a player must visit all the adjacent buildings around the hex where they stopped. To visit a building means applying the effect written on the building’s tile. When visiting Town Square, players trigger various events; be it a good or a bad event, players cannot refuse to apply it. There is also a Magic Tower that can help players with magic effects throughout the game. After performing the visit action, players may sell a building if they wish to and gain as many millions as stated in the current building’s price. Finally, players must choose between discarding a building from the market and getting the corresponding resources or constructing a building available in the market and spending resources for it.
To invent the best winning strategy, players must constantly analyze the situation on the board and decide when it’s time to buy and sell buildings. The game ends immediately when one of the players reaches 100 million in their supply.
It's time to become the most influential of the elements and the new ruler of the Spontaneous Kingdom!
