This is my favourite game of all-time despite being quite simple and pretty much just drawing tiles from a massive bag. The push your luck element and invoking Ra at the most opportune moment is so satisfying. I was so happy to see that this version finally was stocked again as it is beautiful, from the box all the way to the components inside.

A slight downgrade due to the card dividers not having a completely covered bottom; the card dividers cannot be taken be taken out of the box with the cards stored like how you could with the base game dividers. Not sure why they did this when some sections of the organizer has bottom pieces to keep the cards in. Check picture for reference. If you don't mind keeping the cards inside of the box the entire time, then it does what its supposed to do.

This game has unique mechanics for a co-op, at least based on the games that I have played. Players all start in one city location on the map with a limited number of cubes representing Church members. From there, the players have to spread out quickly before the game ends, while still leaving enough members in each city to allow the Church in that city to grow. There is also an addition of a communication die that is rolled every round and determines if players are allowed to communicate during the planning and action phases. This is a very good feature in my opinion because it prevents the possibility of a very opinionated player telling all the other players what to do on every turn. My only complaints about the game are that the artwork is a bit bland for my taste, and that some of the player cards were sloppily printed and the pawn colours don't always match the corresponding player boards. One player board only shows the apostle's legs and feet, but his head is completely out of the shot! However, these are very minor complaints and I still highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys co-operative board games and a good challenge. The game is fun, doesn't take too long to learn or teach, has adjustable difficulty, and makes for a very thematic gaming experience. I have played this game at least five times already and I will be going back to it many times in the future!

Obsession is a fantastic game for anyone who wants a euro/worker placement/engine builder! Plays great 2-4 players and even can be expanded to 5 or 6 if you have the right expansions and it offers a robust solo experience.

Four games in and Iam hooked on the game. Richard Borg (Memoir 44, Command and Colors: Ancients) has done it again with his hex assigned overlay map system. Fun to go back 45 years to see which side will reign supreme.

A marvelous fantasy hex and counter game with awesome production values, beautiful map and counter art, and fairly easy to learn rules. A generous amount of scenarios to play for 2-6 players will keep players busy for a very long time. Placed my order and after a week I had to inquire when the product was going to be shipped because I hadn’t received information about shipping. It was them shipped 8 days after purchasing and took another week to arrive.
Once received I noticed it was missing pieces of one colour and had too many of the other. I’ve emailed with pictures and expecting the pieces to be shipped immediately due to the error, but I’ve only been contacted saying “they are looking into the matter”. It has been 5 days since I heard from them and haven’t heard anything since.
Unfortunately, the game can’t be played; very disppointing with the delays, communications and the quality control.
