A very challenging game with multiple paths to victory. Competitive, solo, cooperative: each mode is fantastic! But cooperative is probably the most tense and the most challenging.
Auctions with a twist, tableau building, tracks for gaining resources and benefits, Compania integrates all elements extremely well. Enjoyable game with plenty of replayability as main tiles laid out will vary game after game. Highest point total wins, but many strategies to choose from and you may have to pivot a couple of times depending on round choices.
This is a really fun positive interactive game. We played it 5 player and everyone enjoyed it quite a bit. It has great mechanics and there is enough going on that it keeps you engaged and thinking about what do do on your next move. This is definitely gateway plus in my opinion but is still easy to teach and it connected with all the different levels of gamers at my table. Really nice production as well with wonderful art and components. It also can be played solo! I would absolutely recommend this for your collection whether you are playing it with your family or gamer friends. Wreck Raiders is a hidden gem 💎 treasure.
