Marabunta is a clever little area-control filler with plenty of Knizia’s trademark designs packed into a surprisingly small game. The 'I cut you choose' mechanism creates some genuinely interesting choices, but the game feels overly mathematical and unfortunately, the production and graphic design don’t help, everything feels cramped. I'd say play Battle Line or Lost Cities or Through the Desert or Cascadero instead of this.
