We played with 3 and it was smooth and sneakily strategic. Dewan is easy to teach with just a few key nuances with camp placement and movement. Also clarifying the scoring goals helps. Our game ended on the last turn where on player was able to complete 3 of their stories on the their final move. It was exciting! Keeping track of you camp placement and the story objectives to control be present in the areas you need gives the game depth in a 30 to 40 minute fun experience. Loved and look forward to playing a few of the variants that are included right in the box. Highly recommend.
