MARVEL: Skirmish! In New York

I know there are more know lane battlers out there but the theme of Marvel Skirmish attracted me. In addition the three different battle spaces as well as asymmetric goals of the Villain and Hero. The only let downs to this is that it is definitely not the superheroes I would have chosen. And their abilities don’t necessarily match their powers although some do. Altogether a mixed bag there. I also find that someone tends to get enough momentum and then it is pretty much over. Sort of a runaway problem. Overall though it’s easy to learn, fun to play and has a theme I like more than other lane battlers even if it’s slightly pasted on. 4 stars for me.
