Woodcraft (Rio Grande Games Edition)

Picked this up on sale and didn't regret it one bit. Great game, with a new (for me) action selection mechanism, where you're rarely blocked, but also allows for some nice chaining, especially if using those improvements and action bonuses. I like that there's a lot of mitigation options despite having limited dice availability. Nicely paced, once you know and understand the actions, bonuses and objectives, the game flows smoothly. Another great game from Suchy - one of my favourite designers!

I really was surprised at how much I liked this game. I bought because I like Vlads games and this turned out to be a hidden gem. I get it it’s not for everyone but it hits the spot for our group.

Was not my cup of tea. Interesting mechanics but some felt unnecessary

Great game because it is fairly easy to learn but takes forward planning to play well.

Vladimír Suchý's contribution Is Visble and very fun. I like income phases that happen every few turn, rather than every turn.
The solo mode is very well done, and hardly any extra overhead. You can basically play it like the multiplayer game.
