Every decision matters: winning auctions brings you goods, council seats, and opportunities for lucrative actions. The combination of card management and auction dynamics ensures constant excitement and depth without slowing down the gameplay.

Valencia appeals to casual gamers who enjoy making smart decisions with tangible consequences. Experienced strategists will find plenty of material for in-depth planning and interwoven tactics. The variable objectives and modular cityscape keep each game fresh and challenging, regularly offering new experiences.

Valencia combines a central auction and bidding mechanism with targeted card management and position control within the city. You control your options via influence cards and stacks, secure city spaces, utilize fountains and palm trees for advantages, and complete tasks as final scoring objectives.

Each round is divided into planning, a clearly defined sequence of auctions, and the council phase, in which positions and privileges are evaluated. The gameplay is characterized by precise timing and the constant balancing of risk and reward: how you draw, stack, and play your cards determines how efficiently you use your actions and build long-term influence in Valencia.
