Zenith

This game was created to be played as a two player game, which is why I bought it. My husband and I love to play games and didn’t want to be limited to needing a group or another couple around. As a result we have taken a deep dive into two player games that actually play well with only two people. This is it. Lots of replay ability, you can play with 4 (but not 3), it has a level of complexity that keeps it exciting but isn’t too complex to learn for new players. Highly recommend!

A new favourite in our household!

The multi-use cards led to such wonderful decisions and the 5 lane tug-of-war makes for constant tension in the best way.

This game has multiple ways to win and has easy and quick turns. That’s a winner in my book, not to mention that the art rules! There are however, a lot of symbols to learn before the game can run smoothly.

Zenith is a fast, punchy sci-fi tug-of-war that packs a lot of tension into about 30 minutes. The rules are easy to grasp, but the decisions matter, since every move can swing control of a planet or open a new path to victory. It really shines at two players, but works well up to four. Quick to teach, tense to play, and the kind of game that makes you say “one more round” even after you lose.
