Twilight Struggle: Red Sea – Conflict in the Horn of Africa
This playing Matt has excellent artwork, and is definitely larger than I expected. Great addition to a great game.

Mechanisms are not anything we haven't seen before, that said it is fun and immersive, the game makes you feel as if you are buying supplies and tailoring outfits for the Grand Ball!!
An absolutely gorgeous edition of an excellent game. Does it need to be this fancy? No, but I'm not disappointed that it is. The game itself has an immersive theme, great hand management system, and many interesting and satisfying choices to be made. A game that gets to the table a lot!
Does it need deluxe?? No. Does it look great? Yes. Does it play great? Yes. So might as well just play the deluxe.
This game is quite wonderful I must say. I was hesitant to spend so much on a game but I would say after one playthrough that it was worth it. And it's quite fitting that the game is about the frivolity and oppulance of the French Aristocracy, it's def priced accordingly.
This game is beautiful to look at. Everything from the box artwork to the massive gameboard is sooooo pretty. You def feel like you're in a palace about to go to the Royal ball. The outfit tokens are also a delight how they switch from sketches to actual designed garments. The bits of three and lacw are fun to tinker with. And how brilliant is it that the first player token is a thimble?
I very much liked the ammount of strategy in this game. It wasn't overwhelming to handle, but it sure gane you a lot to think about. With players feeling the crunch as the rounds ticked by. This is a points salad where you can chose any which way to score yourself victory. And it was quite nice not knowing who's in the lead till a massive points frenzy at the very end of the game.
This game was more fun than I expected it to be. And don't let the theme put you off. I wouldn't say it's the best game ever made, but it was a blast to play and it'll def keep hitting my table!
This is a medium weight euro that I enjoy a lot.
