Game is a laugh a min.. our family plays atleast three times a week!! Best investment ever!!
Such a fun game! Brought this to my parents for a family visit and had such a great time. Make sure you have plenty of time though, it took us hours to finish 1 game (maybe we were just taking our sweet time with it)

This game is hilarious! We always read the cards in a southern accent which makes us laugh even more! Excellent game to play with friends. I cant go back to the original ever!

I offloaded my El Grande Big Box in favour of the New Edition and am very glad I did. The new edition cuts away all of the superfluous content in the Big Box and instead focuses on the core game which gave El Grande its Classic status.
The new edition is much more attractive than the original design and looks great on the table. Finally this game looks as good as it plays! A top 10 game of all time for me.
New edition looks way better, but box is way too big and oddly long shape.
