Risk it all by investing in penny stocks, launch the talk of Silicon Valley start-up, or go to work to secure your next paycheck — these are some of the choices you have to make in Get Rich Quick to attain the fortune points (25 points total for the win) associated with doing nothing, anywhere, anytime! Regretfully, the players around you are at work to ensure they get there first, forcing you to use tactics they do not teach at school to outsmart them in this race to reach the illusive nirvana.
On each turn, all players select three action cards from their hand and place them face down in front of them. Once the players have selected their cards, they simultaneously flip their three cards face up, then the action cards are resolved according to their value from 1-7. Once all actions are resolved, players take back their action cards and a new turn begins.
One of the action cards (the shopping card) allows players to spend money to buy special upgrades on the Summit Shopping Center board to help them achieving their goal. Those upgrades are available in limited quantities and can help you win in multiple ways.
If one or more players accumulate or surpass 25 fortune points at the end of a turn, the game ends. In case of a tie, the players with the most money wins.
