Pacific Victory: Pacific Theater of WW2 (Second Edition) - Deluxe

The map board is a lot bigger and includes China. The rules have been updated. You can also play this with "Victory in Europe" It is a very good game. You can buy my first edition in the used game section at the store in great condition.
And now a note about Columbia Games
One thing I don't like about Columbia Games is that they never do their best the first time. It is always the same with them, 2nd edition this and deluxe cards, maps or block stickers for that. Of course it does not matter if you bought the first rendition in good faith, you have to pay full price for the 2nd improved edition or components. Owning fourteen of their games I can tell you honestly that I have updated eight games one way or another over the years. For the most part they do make good and sometimes great games but I don't like the way they treat "faithful" customers. So 5 stars for the game and 1 star for Columbia Games.
