Welcome to Brugge, the Venice of the North! Canal building business is booming and everyone wants their share of the proﬁts. Great game and an amazing price!

Agent Avenue Review

Agent Avenue is a quick, two-player cat-and-mouse game where players try to catch their opponent’s pawn using set collection, bluffing, and Black Market cards that provide instant or ongoing powers.

Unfortunately, I found that the tension just isn’t there, and catching your opponent never feels as satisfying as it should. While a game can be played in just 5–10 minutes, that short playtime also means there isn’t much opportunity for things to build toward those exciting “Gotcha!” moments.

It’s a clever concept and certainly easy to get to the table, but for me, the lack of tension and payoff keeps Agent Avenue from really standing out.

A "bloody" good time!

I definitely enjoy the game! It's unique take on "engine building" and then "engine destroying" is something you dont see in many other games. Simultaneous play keeps (most) everyone engaged in the game and turns/rounds aren't too crazy long once you get into the thick of it. Various "twists" in the game feels like replay ability is high, picking and choosing or randomizing the twists makes each game the "same" in terms of mechanics and "different" in terms of how each game is a bit different. From different buildings, to different strategies, to getting perks in the main deck and everyone screaming "I gotta work!" leaves for a fun casual game night - provided everyone is actually paying attention as you flip cards and call out whats happening

Great game for ANY age!

This game is a hit with any age group. I play a lot of racing games and the simplicity of betting marbles, set cards, and watching the race unfold is highly entertaining. Younger gamers may not appreciate the skill in set collecting. The randomness of the cards and race makes it very replayable.
