This adds a little more complexity to the game, but once you get the hang of it, it wasn't that much more complex.
What I really like are the added decisions, and the way there are opportunities to grab little bonuses to help support whatever strategy you 're pursuing. It really fleshes the train options out in an interesting way.
I'll leave it out when teaching the game, but would always include it otherwise.
