The miniatures are very look alike which makes it difficult to differentiate them during the game. These coloured rings are game changer and aesthetic.
If you love King of Tokyo, you'll love this edition. It doesn't do anything revolutionary, but the components feel premium (I love the choice to use wood instead of plastic), the extra dice tokens feel better balanced than other approaches to getting more dice, the event cards add an interesting twist, and it comes with evolution cards for all the monsters contained within.
