So TRND is a very easy game to learn, but the way a hand plays out happens in stages. You start trying to figure out which set you'd like to collect, and try to figure out what everyone else is doing. Then the marketplace starts to show some trends and you realise you need a second set to help you discard and go out at the end of the hand. Finally, you try not to be the last, but being the first out is no big advantage, in fact, if you go out too early, opportunity may be wasted.
All in all, this game is good for a lunchtime type game or an opener or maybe for a family night. I played a few games and worry a bit about long term replayability, but I think it might be a game that gets shelved, and eventually comes off again in the future.
