For our group, Agricola is probably THE desert island game. It’s always captivating with enough similarity between games that you don’t feel like you are re-learning the game on each playthrough, but enough variability that no two games feel the same.
Brew Crafters has a very similar feel to Agricola, though not quite as much variability. If you love Agricola, but you want to change things up a bit, Brew Crafters is an excellent way to go.
We purchased this for our 5 year old granddaughter. We've only played it once so far for a brief time so we don't have a lot of experience with it yet. We can see that the cards are colour-coded for skill levels for ease of solving any particular puzzle and I like that there are cards with one half for the child and the other half for the adult to solve with different degrees of difficulty for each. This game will definitely help with problem solving as you try different positions for the various pieces. We also like that there are creative uses for the pieces such as stacking them vertically or placing flat on a surface to make various animals and shapes to provide more ways to play.
