I already owned the bigger game of the same title, but when I saw this “duel” version, I had to get it. This version is WAY more fun - and quick. Play 2/3 games or 3/5. Fantastic tile laying game.
Whether it's solo or coop, this game plays quick and has a lot of variability between play. Multi sleevable upgrades are very nice but also boost the next move you get. Very nicely done overall. A solid 8.5/10 for me.
I've been so busy at work and other activities that I still have not had time to unpack. I still have a few scenarios of the fist game before the unveiling.
Played as singe player but would have been more fun in a co-operative group, discussing the clues and pictures. Cards are very tiny so assistance might be needed to see the picture card and read the very small print. Final solution available using a QR code with was fun.
This is a well designed dungeon crawl. Fast to setup, breakdown, and move from one challenge to another in the campaign format. The miniatures are beautiful. The gameplay is smooth, and because of the design choices, it brings back real fun to the genre.
As for Board Game Bliss, they packed it up and sent it quickly. Package arrived well boxed. 👍
