This adds a good amount of new cards and one new feature, without bloating the original game. You don't *need* this expansion because the original game is already excellent, but it's really nice to have!
This is a very thinky game, despite the apparently simple artwork. The artwork enhances the enjoyment of the game because , although every card necessarily has icons that are used in scoring, the icons are themselves part of the drawing instead of being superposed afterwards. Highly recommended!
