I've played this 25+ times. TCG players feel right at home with the basic triggered abilities and conditions used to pull off combos. There are only a handful of simple effects with variations so it's more about finding long efficient combo chains rather than big game-changing moments. Each player only gets 10 actions so things can feel restricted - but at this length its not that bad. The icons are chunky and clear with good/colorful art that fits the space setting.
Asara is a simple, fun worker-placement / set-collection / set-majority game. The game flow feels polished, with all the excess fat trimmed away. Turns are very quick; the presentation of information is clear and art/components look good. This might be a little too easy/light for deep thinky euro players but great for medium level players.
Artsee has very little going on to pull you in. It's easy and has a short play time - but that's about it. There are literally thousands of other more engaging options. A fun game by the same designer: World's Fair 1893.
I usually have an order with preorders waiting to ship. When I see a game I want to buy I can simply add that game and have it merge with the previous order without paying for shipping (or spending enough for free shipping). Has stopped me from overspending on board games.
