Wow, this was so much fun. Our whole group was smiling the entire time we were playing this. I only wish I had a more appropriate sized table. I think its probably best at a bar height small round table.
Phantom Ink didn't seem like it would work but its been a blast every time my game group has played. Phantom Ink: Arcana gives more prompts, adds some special powers but, more importantly, adds a cooperative mode. My wife and I have enjoyed our experiences with this cooperative mode immensely.
Me amd my gamer friends have had our first session and it does not disappoint.
Positives: components grade A+
And the game mechanics once learned are smooth.
Negative: some of the rules are vague and it woyld very very helpful to have a sheet that walks through all turn phases not just for battles.
Final thoughts: I see this game surpasses Frosthaven for the RPG experience and recommend this game
