Botswana has become a favorite in our family. We’ve been playing it with our 11-year-old daughter, and it strikes a great balance between being easy to learn and offering enough strategy to keep everyone engaged. The rules are simple, games move quickly, and every round brings interesting decisions and a bit of friendly competition. It’s one of those rare games that both children and adults genuinely enjoy playing together. Highly recommended!
Thisa is a resource allocation game with many things going on. It might take several games before one can become proficient in executimg moves in an optimal sequence. But opponents can steal your next desired play - this can be overcome by getting Starting Player. Allow 2 - 3 hours to complete and possibly a bit longer if there are novices playing who constantly need explanations of their options.
A Solid game that’s Easy to pick up and play.
Very intuitive action selection and variable technique cards to keep game play fresh.
A fun solo mode and quick game play.
This game takes up next to no space on the table, and yet has stunning table presence.
Played the game four times. Was a lot of fun each time. A spiritual successor to The Quacks imho. Excellent choice for players enjoying push your luck games.
