This was a surprise hit. I bought it on a recommendation from a friend who hadn’t played it but thought it sounded interesting.
Turns are simple. Play an animal card (value 0-5) - which changes the current value of that animal Then take any animal from supply. When round ends, score each animal by the current value. One round per 2-5 players. It all comes down to what you play when
This simple concept makes for a competitive, interactive filler game that can be played very quickly and number of rounds can be adjusted as necessary. I’m curious about “burning” more cards with more experienced players to add some depth. Also, consider hiding your animal collection with experienced players (a plastic cup would work well). I haven’t needed to try these variations yet, but they could help over time with replayability.
Theme is completely pasted on. Could be anything but here we get fun meeples.
Great components- large, unique screen printed meeples, good quality cards and a very nice box. This production is newer art than most of the bgg art so i was pleasantly surprised.
As always, great service and a great price from BGB.
