Good game, only played it solo. Solid solo game
I have yet to read the books, but I am a fan of the work StoneMaier puts into their games. When I first heard of this game I was intrigued by the mechanics and played a few solo games on Tabletopia. The solo mode is extremely well done, I feel I don't have much AI to manage and I can focus on my hand. It feels a bit like scythe in that you have several end game triggers so you do have to pay attention to what is happening on the board. As well when you get a feel for the cards in play you can create some pretty nifty combos!
