I love the detail and historical accuracy of this game. The production values for this game are very high.
Only market cards, and that's ok. Some of these are more useful then others but you never know what kind of combos you can pull.

Sekigahara is a three-hour, low-complexity block wargame based on Tokugawa's campaign in 1600 that would unify Japan for over 250 years.
The game features some unusual mechanisms:
Great game. Stylish and great battle mechanism. Easy to learn, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy to win. Requires very strategic planning. I love it.
One of the best games that I have played in my over 55 years of board gaming experience. Elegant, and makes you make many tough decisions often with unexpected results.
This is such a blast to play. If you can find someone to play longer games with and they're up for lots of battling then this game is probably worth looking at.
I agree wholeheartedly with the earlier reviewers. In addition I'd like to recommend Sekigahara to first time wargamers and anyone who likes to bluff. The rules are very approachable and intuitive. The block and card interaction takes the fog of war common in block games to the next level. Excruciating, in a good way.
I've played this 5 or 6 times now. I assumed that since the setup is static and the winning conditions never change that games would play out in a similar fashion. Happily, that isn't the case at all. Card play has a lot to do with that. It is quite tactical, as the right battle at the right time can tip things in your favour.
