Very intersecting non linear story telling. Brings the AHLCG to a new level.
Well, there's the parley queen included. As for the cards, still trying to figure out the curse and bless combination.
If you’re at all in tune with pro-wrestling and you enjoy card games, this is a fantastic get.
The card play is great, the dice and difficulty of moves means you have to pick and choose your moves carefully. The momentum system is fun to tangle with. Being the attacker or the defender is just as important, you don’t just get beat down until it’s your turn to beat the other player down.
All of the characters have fun abilities and cards that totally feel like things you’d really see watching wrestling on tv.
Honestly, the only thing about this game I can think to gripe about is that some cards have the same art. Signatures and Finishers don’t stand out from normal moves as much as they could. And, in some instances, the rulebook could use a bit of trimming to make rules concise and clear. But it never made the game any harder to play or less fun.
I give this game a hell yeah.
While placing an order on hold and then shipping it is a really weird, unintuitive process, I otherwise had no problems. I recommend revising how you do order holds.
