The rules and boards act as a lid on top of the trays.I bought this organizer to make setup, organizig the but during gameplay and putting away all the pieces for Above and Below. This brand (Folded Space) is made from pre punched grey foamcore, making it affordable and lightweight. It does require some assembly and pva glue (I used Elmer's) but the instructions are clear and easy to follow. This organizer fits in the box beautifully and has extra space for expansions. Highly recommend.
