A rich and attractive, engaging game play.
Deeper than BB, as fun
Gorgeous game, great components, elegant design. A must-play game. I played the Birmingham version first (and loved it), but I think Lancashire is probably even better!
This game takes awhile to learn all the rules. I'd recommend watching a learn to play video while reading the rules, just to make sure you're getting everything right. Very tight game with tough decisions.
Excellent game and will probably be many's favorite. Playing Brass : Lancashire feels like you want to be a part of everything. You want to score so you're building cotton, but then you could build a port so someone might be tempted to use yours to ship cotton. But again, you want a piece of those sweet points too so you need to built links between cities. Even if others are scoring points, there is a way for you to score too.
I like using 1 card whichever action you want to do. It forces you to think carefully which card to discard, so you don't end up throwing a usefull one. Fun economic game. Must have
