My family is new to gaming and I wanted to add some sort of rpg I to the mix. My daughters aged 10 and 12 both wanted this the second they saw a video for it.
The story and theme are wonderful. The kids love it. They love the characters.
The mechanics are clunky and the instructions are too thin.
3.5 stars.
This game is completely incomprehensible. The rules are unclear, we can't even get the game mechanics sorted out. Complicated, expensive, and now it's just gathering dust.
An almost surprisingly good game, one look at the cover and you think you are in for a child's game but not so much you are one of several stuffed companions (stuffies) protecting you little girl through the night while she is experiencing her life progression, such as her first night in her 'big girl bed' or trying to help her not have an accident on her first night without a diaper. Granted it seems simplistic but it is entertaining and the story book/game board rolled into one is a clever adaption. miniatures for both sides of the story and the ability to equip your stuffies for battle from a card drafting setup.

Wonderful art craft for children. My daughter loved it.
